The Mueller Process
- Pre-Planning – In the first step in the process, we review the needs, desires, taste, and budget for your family. This gives us an idea of the scope of the project and establishes an estimate for a budget early in the process so everyone is on the same page.
- Lot Evaluation and Home Plans – The next step is finding a lot that fits your needs and budget, and tailoring a home plan to fit this lot once it is found.
- Home Plan Selection – Now is the time to select your home plan from one of our pre-designed templates, and customizing it to fit your needs established in the pre-planning stage.
- Finalization of Construction Drawings – In the fourth stage, we finalize the construction plans for your home with the final version of blueprints.
- Construction Planning and Building Contacts – After the blueprints, other construction documents and building contracts are finalized, and the Building Agreement is approved.
- Financing and Building Permits – The final stage before construction, this is where we finalize financing for construction and obtain a mortgage commitment and building permits.
- Construction Begins – Congratulations! Construction has now begun on your new home in Maryland!
